Meet Rohan

Rohan is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a strong focus on building meaningful relationships to support clients in achieving their goals. His journey began working with vulnerable young people in the child protection sector, and he now brings over 20 years of experience in community, health and wellbeing services.

With a curious and compassionate approach, Rohan takes the time to understand each client’s unique perspective and motivations. Rohan thrives on working with clients to find pragmatic solutions to complex problems, leading to his keen interest in Assistive Technology and Home Modification solutions. He is passionate about fostering insight and promoting self-determination – both at the individual and organisational level – believing these are key to genuine personal growth. Rohan has a special interest in cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions across the lifespan.

Rohan’s commitment to excellence was recognised during his graduate year, when he received multiple prestigious awards: the Cecile Bearup Prize for the highest professional standards, the Marjorie Black Prize for excellence in psycho-social practice, and the UniSA Medal for academic excellence. Coupled with his own lived experience of disability, these honours have shaped Rohan’s reflective and person-centred approach to practice. He believes that excellence is a continual journey, and that truly supporting individuals requires ongoing growth from both practitioners and organisations alike.

Outside of his professional life, Rohan enjoys spending time in nature, relaxing in the pool, and playing cricket with his family and friends.
